Because of her father’s investment business, Katie was raised in an environment of stocks, markets and investments. An interest rubbed off and she majored in finance and economics at Lake Superior State. After graduation she worked in banking and financial management of a Grand Rapids real estate firm. In addition to her portfolio design and service duties, she leads the firm’s client data management initiatives and financial operations.
